Super Mario at its best?!

In Not so random posts on November 15, 2010 at 11:47 PM

Think you’ve beat Super Mario inside and out? Try this one!!

Games are said to have infinite patience with players, but in the case of the game, I think it’s the player who has to have infinite patience with the game where gameplay is undermined by seemingly endless pre-programmed tricks and setups. Battling with high difficulty level is wickedly difficult and fun at the same time for players seeking hard fun.

Observe the player movement DOES give you a sense of what actions are being comtemplated on the player’s mind and what actions are being experimented.  Repeated endeavor does pay off though. Games at their best, while you play whole-heartedly, give you competence, autonomy, and relatedness. Who can argue this isn’t learning of some sort.
